Strawberry Sauce

Hereā€™s what you need:
  • 1Ā lb strawberries chopped
  • 2 tspĀ lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
Ā Chop your strawberries and add them to a medium saucepan with the lemon juice, sugar and vanilla.

Cook over medium/low heat for 15-20 minutes until the strawberries are softened and the mixture thickens slightly.

Remove from heat and allow sauce to cool until you're ready to use.
Ā 
Use to top ice cream, pancakes, crepes, or make strawberry shortcake. Enjoy!
