Marinated Vegetables

In a large mixing bowl, add the following ingredients:

1 can peas with pearl onion, drained

1 can corn white or shoe-pegged, drained

1 can French-style green beans, drained

1/2 cup chopped celery

1/2 cup finely chopped onionĀ 

1/2 cup chopped green pepper

Dressing:

1 cup sugar

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1/2 cup vinegar

1/2 teaspoon pepper

Combine dressing ingredients and bring to a boil over medium heat. Boil for one minute, stirring constantly. Pour over the vegetables gently. DO NOT STIR! Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours. Serve cold and enjoy!
