Drop Biscuits

What you will need:

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 Tbsp baking powder
1 tsp kosher salt
1 Tbsp granulated sugar
10 Tbsp. unsalted butter (frozen and grated or cut into cubes)
3/4 cup whole milk, plus 1 to 2 Tbsp, if needed

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, baking powder and sugar. Add the cold butter and work it in with a fork (or your fingers) until it resembles the texture of coarse meal with some pea size pieces.

Using your fork, mix in the milk slowly until it comes together to form a shaggy dough. Add up to 2 Tbsp more milk, if needed, careful not to get the dough too wet.

Scoop dough into 8 biscuits and either bake them on a parchment lined baking sheet or in an iron skillet until golden brown, about 20-24 minutes.

Serve warm and enjoy!
