Southern Pecan Pie

3 eggs, well beaten
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup light Karo syrup
1/4 cup butter, melted (1/2 stick)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup roasted and salted pecan halves or pieces
1 deep-dish pie crust
Preheat your oven to 375F.
In a medium bowl, add the beaten eggs, sugar, Karo, melted butter and vanilla. Whisk well to incorporate all of the ingredients together. Add pecans and mix well.
Pour into your deep-dish pie crust and bake in your preheated oven for 40-50 minutes or until there is just a slight jiggle in the center and the filling starts to split. If the edges are getting too brown, you can cover them with foil. Allow to cool and set up before serving. Enjoy!
