Orange Slice Cookies

- 1 - 9 oz. box of Jiffy Yellow Cakemix
- 1 egg
- 3 Tbsp. neutral oil (I used avocado oil)
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 cup Orange Slice candy, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Preheat oven to 350F. In a large mixing bowl, combine your Jiffy cake mix with all other ingredients. Mix well to combine. Using a small cookie scoop or tablespoon, scoop even amounts onto a parchment or silicone mat lined baking sheet. Bake for 8 - 10 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Allow cookies to cool. Enjoy!
NOTE: To make chopping your orange slice candy easier, lightly coat your kitchen shears in flour and then cut the orange slice in half, longways. Dip the "sticky" side into the flour to coat and then cut into small pieces. Repeat until you have 1 cup of the candy chopped.
