Basic Potato Salad
Here’s what you need:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 3 Tbsp. mustard (or to taste)
- 1 - 2 Tbsp. white vinegar
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup chopped green onion
- 3/4 cup finely chopped celery
- About 2 lbs. (5-6 medium) potatoes, cooked and cut into 3/4-inch chunks
In a medium bowl, mix together the mayo, mustard, vinegar and seasonings until well combines. Add your onions and celery and stir.
Add your potatoes and toss to coat them well. That's it! Your basic potato salad is done and ready to enjoy!
NOTES**: You can also add other extras like, cooked bacon, hard boiled egg, cheese, etc. This is a great base for any additions you like!
